This is my new website for Springer Mouthpieces. I make "step-up" alto and tenor mouthpieces for students in a variety of tip openings and chambers.
These are designed to give advanced students a taste of hand-made mouthpieces at a fraction of the cost.
Thank you,

As a suggestion - Dave Kessler seems to have had some good results by allowing SOTW folks a chance to 'play test' his new pieces. He formed a list of people and they passed it from person to person and reviewed it. It might be a way for you to get your pieces out and sampled.
Dave - no offense meant to you if this is your marketing secret!

Mark,
That seems like a good way to get the mouthpieces out there and I might just do this...
Mine come in several chambers and tips - which one would I release? It seems the Kessler pieces are only in one size: Link #7. That simplifies things for him.
Thank you,
Patrick Springer

Is there any particular mouthpiece you chose to model your pieces after?

Hi Carl,
Not really - I just wanted a certain quality (Dexter-ish). Previously to playing my .090" tenor, I was playing a 7EL Morgan and I feel my facing gives me more of what I want. It's a little deeper in the lows and allows me to move more air if I need.
I did not copy Mr. Morgans facings tho.
Thank you,
Patrick Springer
