foriegn saxophone atleast to me (i need answers)

Has anyone heard of a DC saxophone? I was looking on ebay and i found a bunch of them and they look like a good brand. I never saw them in stores. If anyone plays on or knows info on them please tell me what you know. Also what kind of sound do they produce, good, bad, bright, dark?

This is a dangerously small amount for a new tenor. It looks to be a cheap knock off. The keywork looks pretty poorly made. There are many like brands that come and go from the auctions looking for uninformed buyers. That amount of cash plus a bit will buy you a respectable used instrument that will hold value and play well.

One of the only places I've seen DC saxes sold is through Dominic's Music of Monique Brand fame. So if that's any indication...
