Could anyone suggest a suitable mouthpiece for Jupiter 869SG? Right now I'm using a Selmer C*. The tone is clean but "straight". It's also a little too bright.
Thank you for your help.

Unless you tell us what kind of music you are interested in playing, there's not much point in recommending a mouthpiece for you. I play the same horn, and I have several different setups I'll use for different purposes.
I do straight classical playing, concert band, big band and pit shows. I have used different setups for these, but I'm also capable of using one piece do them all.
Yes, I find that Selmer C* mouthpieces disappointing, but for me it's about the inconsistency in their tip openings and lack of tip rail definition.
Tell me more about what you want to play, and I'll make some solid recommendations.

Thanks for your remainder. I play mostly classical music. However, I am also learning jazz recently.

Here are some of the setups I use, and what I use them for:
Vandoren A20 w/Vandoren #3 reeds - this is a nice classical/concert band setup, great for quartet playing, though I've also done a jazz trio gig on it with good results
Vandoren A35 w/Vandoren #2.5 V16 reeds - this is my fave setup for big band, jazz and pit orchestra gigs
Caravan med. chamber w/ Vandoren #3 reeds - great mouthpiece for classical/concert band. I've also used it on shows that needed a more limited volume.
Caravan Large chamber w/Vandoren #3.5 reeds - excellent mouthpiece for pure classical playing, very dark, beautiful volume control
