Well I've heard that Zondas can be pretty awesome after significant break-in time so I'm anxious to give them a try. Only thing is, with all the substrengths, I have no idea where to start! I'm currently playing a Rousseau NC4 on alto for classical work which I am in love with so I'd like to find a Zonda strength that would work well with it. I normally like Vandoren Blue Box 2 1/2's, Alexander Classique 3's, Rico Orange Box 3's...just to give you an idea of what strengh area I like to play around. So what Zonda strength do you think would work well for me and my NC4?

2 1/2 D should be comparable.

I love Zondas but can't get 'em anywere. Have Switched to Alexander Superiel, but would rather stay Zonda.
Anyone know where to get them?

I often have difficulty getting Alexanders (especially Superials) to even play on my less-than-perfect mouthpieces without squeaking or giving serious response problems. I love 'em on my good pieces though. From your experience do Zonda's perform well on mouthpieces that have flaws in the facing (in other words, haven't been *perfected* through refacing)?
