Bari Vandoren ZZ's too wide!

This may have been discussed elsewhere, but my God! Why did they make the bari reeds so wide?? They hang over my old faithful level air so much there's no way to get the stock lig on. I guess it might work ok with a rovner or something. I've got a Runyon Quantum on order - wonder if they will work with that?

Turns out they do work with the Runyon Quantum - but plasticovers beat them hands down, in my opinion (bari sax only).

Vandoren ZZ bari reeds are made to fit Vandoren's own bari pieces, which are all HR and have a wider window/rails than most others.
