OK, so I'm a little biased, considering he's my teacher....but check out his new CD. Some really killer stuff, and as always, some very musical playing. An eclectic mix of music on this one. Check out Mister Magic....his solo at the end is KILLIN. And the Latin tune he plays (track 09, I forget the title) makes you wanna get up and dance!
I don't have the CD in front of me....but I believe it's called "lest we forget". It contains music by Grover Washington Jr, Stanley Turrentine, and others. It's an organ trio with Joey Defrancesco, Greg Hutchinson, and Christian McBride. And Ron of course.
The whole album swings like mad.
Help support Ron...and maybe he'll record more albums :)
On a side note....has anyone checked out vertical vision by Christian McBride yet? I'm thinking about buying it....
