I just got 2 Hahn reeds (1 alto/1 sop) from SaxAlley to see how they response. These are GREAT! I've been using Fibracell and Vandoren reeds, none of the come close to the Hahn reeds. The Hahn reeds enhanced the sound of my alto (B&S Medusa with stock mpc (stamped B&S put I heard it's a Vandoren) so much that I couldn't believe it. The sound is now colorful, and altis. range came out with ease.
The best part is that from now on, I don't have to worry about getting the reeds wet before each song, since I switch between horns alot and sometime the reed get really dry, these synthetic reeds help me to play whenever I want to.

Well, here is a question, I'm ordering a Beechler Belite 5 (metal), and it should be here next week, my question is what number should I order for the new mpc? 2.5 or 3? I'm using 2.5 now for my mpc, but I guest the Beechler #5's tip is a little bit close compare to my current mpc.

Thank you,
Kenny.

Yup! Just got my Hahn 2 1/2 for the Baritone Mouthpiece. I do like it better than the Rico Plastic, Fibercells and Bari. $18.00 and worth it.

I'm currently using Plasticover #3's. What strength of Hahn reed would be comparable?

I just bought 4 Hahn reeds from the "Sax Alley" web-site and am very impressed. Best synthetic I've tried and I have tried a ton of them!...........
