new reed by FL

Yesterday i played a Francois Louis reed, strength 3 on a FL mpc. I am used to playing hemke on this mpc and i have to say that the response and range this reed offers was far better
Apparently, they were presented at a music fair in germany. Anyone seen these?

A shipment of FL reeds will be coming into Roberto's shortly. I've been checking with them for the past couple of days. Tim Price told me about the FL reeds -- in fact, he was raving about them -- and I'm going to give them a try. From what I understand they are only available right now for tenor. It will be interesting to see how they compare to the Alexander Classique reeds that I use.

Uh oh - a Francois Louis reed?! 8) Just when I thought I had my setup secure...if his reeds are as good as his ligatures and mouthpieces...

Js, if your playing tenor that is. what i have understood so far is that they are currently only available for tenor. I presume alto, soprano and bari will be available soon.
Has anybody an idea about the prices for these and durability.

Roberto's hasn't received the shipment of FL tenor reeds yet. I've been checking. As soon as they arrive I'll get some to try out.
