I have been playing one for a couple of months now. It is the 7* facing.
I bought two mpcs from ted klum, a focustone metal standard and the resin one ..the acoustimer.
I have hardly played the standard because i love the resin on my mkv1. I have a drawer full of vintage and very good playing mouthpieces but now i am sticking with this one. What can i say, it works for me!

Thanks for letting me know. I sent off an email so lets see if they have a waiting list. I post my thoughts when I get hold of one.

Can you tell us a bit more about how it plays and how it compares to some of the vintage mpc's?
Thanks!

I took the plunge and ordered an 8, so I will do a review. I am currently playing a otto link slant refaced by jon van wie also an 8. So lets see how they stack up.....

I really like the mouthpiece. It plays well on my MkV1. I think Ted Klum
referred to it a Reso Chamber when describing the Acoustimer to me. I have never played a Reso so I don't know. I think he has a hold on online orders because he is so backed up.
I also got a metal Ted Klum Standard FocusTone 7* I got purchased from him at the same time as the Acoustimer, but I am going to sell or trade it. It plays great but I prefer hard rubber.

I am surprised that no one mentioned this:

The mouthpiece has arrived and its great. I've been on a JVW slant for a couple of years & thought I would never find another piece I could really get in to especially for a long period of time. But I really like this peice, its every bit as good. Fantastic response throughout the register, great sound, big & still linkish in its warmth & big sound. I am very impressed, I will have a lot of opportunities to use it between now and the end of the year. I will update this again in a few months. After emailing I they were quick to respond and it didnt take long at all for it to arrive in australia.
