There is a Souhegan Music Bompany in Amherst, New Hampshire. They sell a lot of band instruments through the ebay store. They have a warehouse on the west coast. That's all I know. The fact that the warehouse is on the west coast 'could' mean that the horns came from Asia. Maybe someone else has more info. It seems that 'new' brand names are showing up more and more on ebay. Some instruments are made in China,India, Mexico, and former Eastern Block Countries. Joe.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check out the company and follow this lead.
If anyone else has info, I am looking to pick up a Souhegan Tenor soon and want to get as much info as possible. Thanks.

We have these instruments made in China under our brand name - Souhegan. The model number for this particular instrument is 6435. There is no serial number. It is brand new.
Here is the reply that I received from Souhegan Music Company concerning the tenor I am looking at. Does this sound legit? I have invited them to come to the forum to provide further info. Their website is www.souheganmusic.com for those interested.

Saxphin, Let us know how the tenor works out. You can't beat the price. I,m looking for a low cost tenor or bari, just to mess around with. Keep Tooting, Joe.
I dunno - that's pretty cheap... seems a little scary. You might do better with a used YTS-23 or something.
(also - someone should tell them how saxophone stands work... )

Will let you know how it goes and ditto on the the stand, Max. Saw that before and didn't really pay attention to it until you mentioned it. Something in the back of my mind struck me funny about that picture. Hopefully, the horns not damaged and it's not the one they are sending me.

Just to let everyone know...I didn't jump in on the Souhegan. I bought a Buescher BU-5. Got a deal that I couldn't pass up. I have posted on it under the Buescher thread. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.
