Anyone know what piece the guy is using in the above video? I really love the vintage patina to it and even beyond looks it has a very versatile great sound. What surprised me most is it has a REALLY long shank. Longer than a lot of metal bari shanks. I'm beginning to wonder if he's using a bari piece on his tenor. Some people do this and tenor reeds actually do work on bari saxes.

Looks like a regular Dukoff to me.

Maybe you're right. I don't see a lot of these, they've gone out of fashion a bit. If it looks too long I'll take your guys' word for it. As narrow, high baffle, and small chamber these are I wouldn't be surprised if a bari piece played better in tune on a tenor than a tenor piece. Reminds me of a player I once worked with that played alto on a tenor 110/1 Berg. Great player, superb sound.

I was guessing it was a dukoff bari piece. It makes sense. He doesn't have that ultra high dukoff tenor sound so I guess the fact that its a bari piece made it more evened out(?)

BTW is it an HR piece? David Sanborn's Dukoff has the same vintage patina to it and I believe his is metal. I love the color
