I live a couple of hours south of Orlando and make it up there every few months. With all the entertainment business going on in the city, I've been surprised at how LITTLE seems to be there when I've looked around.
Am I missing something??? I'd be interested in hearing any good instrument suppliers/shops in Central Florida, too....

I've only been in the Orlando area for about a year and a half.
Gary Underwood/Underwood Music in Winter Park seems to be the
technician/shop of choice. He is very knowledgeable. Good stock of music, reeds, vintage mouthpieces, some horns. Every pro I have met goes there for repairs, some driving as far as 50 or 60 miles to get there.
He was originally recommended by my friend and tech in Buffalo,
Joe Clouse, who is a past president of NAPBIRT.

I also recommend Gary. He is a great guy, extremely knowledgable and always willing to help. Not a BARGAIN, mind you, but definitely worth the trip to get top-notch work done.
