I played this HR Link TE, borrowed from a friend (I have to give back...)
sound "old style" medium dark, high notes very rich, good projection, easy subtones
two questions:
1) what is
2) what modern mpc could give me the same qualities

definitely, the answer is NO, does it is NOT an Early Babbitt (nobody like an horseshoe baffle)!

So the question remains, what is my link mpc ?

Get a new TE and get it touched up by one of the refacers to what you want.
