Hello everybody,
I bought this tenorsax on an auction. Anyone who knows the model and wich year it is made. It is marked Dolnet Paris and 37305.

Hi Danne,
Dolnet serial numbers are notoriously difficult to find.
Best resource is the Dolnet section of Saxpics.com.
The other area to look is the Dolnet section here on SOW
Does look a bit like a belaire but I am no expert. Does it have any other engraving on it - round the back near the bell join?
There are many others around here that know more about these.
I have a Dolnet Royal jazz tenor and it has a fantastic big buttery sound. Hope you like yours - its worth getting a tech to look at it and get it into good playing shape!

That should be a very strong player after a good setup.
Don Byas played one of those in the 60's .. and he was a strong player .

Looks like a Belair model to me, too. Are you certain the SN doesn't start with a "5" ? Did you buy this in North America?

Go to saxpics.com and look at the photos in the Dolnet section. It may or may not be a BelAir, IMHO....
