Hello, I am a 23-year old saxophone addict from the Netherlands, playing for 10 years now, mostly tenor. It's just a hobby for me, no pro playing nor ambitions, but I want to reach the maximum as a hobbyist.

I put two bigband tunes online in which I solo, The Queen Bee and Quiet Breaker. Please have a look and tell me what you think of the solo's, comments are more than welcome.

This is the link:

My current setup is
1964 King Super 20 Tenor Silver Neck with STM Link 7*
however when on these tunes I play
Lacquerd Selmer Serie III tenor with Selmer Silverplated Neck with hard rubber Link 7*.

Orange box rico reeds 3.5.

Thanks!

Very nice big band sound. I liked Quiet Breaker because it gave you more of a chance to demonstrate your sound. Good full tenor sound and you were managing the bebop like passages well in your solo. If you would care to join us on the big thread within this section of SOTW, you will find several of us who regularly post a tune or so a week for comparison. We have regulars from Germany, Switzerland, and various parts of the U.S. with varying levels of expertise. Nice sound. BTW, although I primarily play bari, I also have a Super 20 tenor.
