I just happen to be rebuilding a 1949 H.N. White, King Super 20 this week and when i saw this new section I had to say thanks. Maybe people think I'm a Keilwerth fanatic, but I have played and owned super 20's for 25 years and rank them as one of the top 3 horns, (based on sound and power), ever manufactured.

Sarge, what are the other two top horns in your opinion?

We are talking about opinions here, but when I think of my all time favorite horns, based on power and tone, intonation and design, they are:
1 Couf Superba 1 tenor or Tone King
2 King Super 20 tenor(appx. 325k and under)
3 Buescher 400 top hat and cane tenor.
yes, I own a selmer too, but it is stock and without modifications, I find mk 6's stuffy in the high notes and not as powerful as the 3 above mentioned horns... so, there you have it, my fav's.
i'm sure every one has an opinion that is just as valid, let's hear them...
