Just got my Phil Tone Custom Link and it is truly amazing. I told Phil to make me a dark one and the sound is so awesome! Rich and full with some spunk when I push it alot. Very versatile piece. I was so impressed I'm asking Phil to make me a Philtone piece for tenor too. I will only need these two pieces for a long time. Keep it up Phil!

This was a pleasant surprise for me. I am not a LINK fan at all but I didn't sound like a congested duck with this piece...which is usually how a Link sounds for me.
I think this was a fuller, richer sounding Link than I have ever experienced. Especially in the upper register, I really liked it.

Down low, it was competent, but not my cup of tea.

This was the first H/R link i have played so I was really looking forward to trying this m/p.I played it on my Ref54 & SG tenor.I have been playing RPC's for a couple years now so it was by far darker than what I am used to.I could see using it for playing jazz but it was too dark for what im doing here.
