Looking for feed back on the Antigua Winds Bari... Has anyone tried this sax?
If not any other recommendations? (The Yani 901 always seems to have good feedback, but is a price class above the Antigua...)

Try the Vito VSP. It's a Yani 901 (even says so on the sax) that sells for about $2900 at wwbw.

Seems to me I remember Randall speaking highly of the Antigua Winds bari. I can vouch for the Vito.

I tried the Antigua and found it a bit clumsy (awkward keywork) and to have questionable intonation. Having said that, a friend of mine bought one and is very happy with it, I wouldn't swap it for my Yani B901 which is in a different class altogether.

I was completely blown away by the quality, ease of play, sound and sturdy build of the Antigua bari.
My repair tech also gave it his highest recommendation.
We were both taken back that Antigua had produced such a fine horn.
I found it nearly identical to the Selmer Series II bari in terms of ergonomics.
When I played it, I almost wished I hadn't shelled out all the cash I did for my JK....almost!
I don't think you'll find a better bari for the price.

I don't Know if my first repy was posted, I'm learning how to use this site. I have an antigua Winds Bari, and really like it. I feel like I'm getting a kind of vintage sound out of it. I've got a ottolink 7* metal mouthpiece. It gets a nice voulume when needed, but I'm also able to get a really nice whisper tone. At any rate I'd like to hear from others with a similar experience.
