I still wonder why a Selmer Paris would not come with the Selmer neck strap, but who knows.

Having the case is good idea too... sometimes the mouthpiece that comes helps some players and I am sure I am not getting nothing for free.

My Selmers both came with Selmer neck straps.

I think the Ray Hyman Strap comes with the Series II or III's at the U.S., but ot sure.

The last Selmers I bought here ( Series3 soprano and bass clarinet) came with slings that are identicle in every way to my BG slings except they say Selmer instead of BG so I guess they are making them for Selmer like Bam make the cases. They are better than the old Hyman slings I think.

What? they're rare? I don't think so-you can buy them anywhere for about I don't know $5.00-$8.00 ...I usually buy them 2 or 3 at a time just in case I lose one-in 50 years I think I've only ever broken 1. all I collect is dust.
