Hey!! Did anyone catch the Courtney Pine - John Coltrane tribute tour a while back? I was at the Edinburgh concert...and man!!! Courtney was in fine form!! I though his interpritation of Coltranes music was great!!
Does anyone know if there is going to be a C.D (studio or live) of the tribute? I think Courtney is one of the top U.K sax player!!!

Wow - good to hear he's still doin' it. I followed him round London about twenty years ago and he was one mean mf on that horn (I put mine away!)

Yeah, I saw his tribute to john coltrane.. It was great.. A real good player!
His style is not like coltrane's though.. But a great show it was.
