Previous thread brought this to my attention.
Any you folk own or played a MAC 20? Either Alto or Tenor?

Love the feature list and everyone here seems to have good reviews of the MAC 8.
# Same design as Classic with same bore and bell size
# Rolled Tone Holes (RTH)
# Double arms on low C, B and B-flat keys
# Under-slung octave arm on the neck
# Elegant and tasteful new hand engravings, designed just for the PB Mac 20
# Premium hard shell gig bag
# Only available in Alto and Tenor models
Phil Barone any comment on these from you? Differences, commonalities, notes?

Just got my PB MAC 20 Copper Alto (http://www.philbarone.com/sax/alto/mac20alto.html). It is beautiful!!! I've only played it once so far at a jam last night, having it set up right now by tech (they are usually set up before shipping, but I had mine rushed as I wanted it asap). I am about to go out of town a few days so I will try and follow up next week with some more pix and more info, but so far it is nothing short of awesome! BTW - it comes with 2 necks - over and underslung.

Hey Conrado. Small world. When you were at Yamato HS, I was just on the next block in the Air Force band.

Gary - Are you kidding? Were you at Tachikawa AFB? My father was stationed there between 66-69 - I left after graduating from HS in 67. 8-) Going offline now for some days.

I just took some more photos of my new MAC20 Alto. Included in the web gallery (http://gallery.me.com/webshaman#100399&view=grid&bgcolor=black&sel=3)are also some photos of the PB gold plated Saxello and the alto together on a SaxRax stand. I will start another thread seeking the best position of the saxello peg as i have doubts about the correct position of use.
