Hi,

is this a real King Super 21 currently on Ebay at

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3716132393&category=64 454&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT&rd=1

It is engraved King Super 21 Silversonic but is all laquered. I am confused. I read somewhere before that there are modified Yanis around to be sold as Super 21.

Regards
Werner

I took a close look at the photos Pete (www.saxpics.com) has of the Super 21 versus the various Yanagisawa's I'm familar with and they would have been heavily modified in terms of keywork and I wonder if that would really be worth the effort or price. Until proven otherwise, I am of the mind that the Super 21 was made by king to a large degree if not totally.

Where is the underslung octave key? :( Where is silver bell?
Why is the rare (?!?!?!) sax selling three times in one year???

I think, that we can see in future Super 22 and Super 23. Who makes these altos?

That is not a Silversonic anything. The 21's made that were silversonics had a silver bell and neck just like of old, and the necks were underslung.
