Two Holtons made on the same day??

I have two Rudy altos, # 36979 and # 36975. That's just 4 little digits between them. Could they have been made the same day, or week? How many horns per day do you think were produced? Does anyone have an estimate of the month and year these numbers were made?

Both were made early in 1930. Holton produced about 2000 saxophones that year (5 to 10 per working day), so they were possibly made the same day or at least within one week.
