Student or intermediatte?

In my opinion, the Evettes are student horns. The exception may be the very vintage ones, which are museum pieces and not really suitable for most players (although I am sure there are some who do play them to great effect).
Some of the later Evettes (mid 80's?) appear to use SDA pieces, but I believe the construction keeps them in the student catagory.
Having said that, there are many players who prefer student horns over intermediate or pro horns. So if you have one, and it is working for you, don't worry about a stupid label!

The current ones are made in the Republic of China and are very poor instruments.

My Evette Buffet Crampon works really good for me and i havent had many problems with it.
