It actually reads "WALBERG & AUGE", an american company that mainly made drums. Probably this horn is a stencil made for them. The rolled tone holes may help to find out who actually manufactured the horn. I would guess at a german made horn, but I am not an expert.

Ah! the ubiquitous Italian or French stencil! ( :shock:How do I always find these threads!?!?). It is either a Malerne (as some say) or (as I always think) a Rampone .
Send the picture to Claudio Zolla at Rampone for identification. I have no Idea of how much it is but it isn't worth much either way (100$ ?)
