On eBay Italy, a "new" 70s Grassi Bari to low A, top bend damaged, other than that it's pristine!

According to the text, the sax was bought new in 1977, the new owner damaged it a couple of days later and returned it to the shop. The shop took the pieces apart to repair it but never got around to completing the repair. So 30 years later, they remember they have this thing in the back room and need the space: happens all the time! Sorry, not trying to put any doubt on the story, just find it funny!!!

I have no affiliation with the seller.

Sounds like a bargain! Shame they don't mention the model.
Please let me know if anyone on this forum buys it!

I think they only ever made one type of baritone in the Bb and Low A version. One of these has been offered (in working order) on E-bay at a very high price and failed to be sold a couple of times. This could be a good Baritone but due to its price and the cost of an overhaul the saxophone will end up costing in the region of the figure which would buy you a more titled saxophone, so, if one does the work oneself it could be ok otherwise it could be too dear for the market

I think you're right, although there is a Professional 2000 Bari, but this isn't one of those.
