Super 20 neck serial no.s

Does anyone know if and when King discontinued putting serial numbers on Super 20 necks? I've got a line on a bari, 415xxx, that doesn't have a serial number on the silver neck, and am wondering whether it is original. Any info or informed speculation welcome.

My experience is that it was random; for example, I currently have Zephyrs within a few thousand serial numbers and the earlier one doesn't the later one does. I've seen 480K Super 20 with neck SNs and 350K without. The two Zeph baris that I owned (one early, one later) did not have neck serial #s. All of these horns were original lacquer that appeared very similar between neck and body, but there is always the possibility that the neck was swapped at some point...

Thanks for your reply, Smuel Yosef. I wouldn't have suspected this on my own limited experience w/Super 20s, but I guess that's the point of asking. Will post again if anything happens with this particular horn.
