Does anyone have,or know where there's, a transcription for Bob Mitzner's solo in the "Soul Intro?" I've looked every where and i've tried transcribing it myself, but my skills aren't up to snuff.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!

I love that whole album. I transcribed some of the solos but I didn't write any of it down. Try getting some software that you can use to slow down mp3s with out changing pitch. a lot of the new digital recorders have a feature like that on them. You can also loop sections at slower speed. I use the Boss Micro Br for transcribing.
I haope you have good control of your altissimo, you will need it!

I played baritone sax on both "The Birthday Concert" and "Invitation." I don't know of any transcriptions of the Mintzer and Brecker solos, but they are terrific. In my opinion, this is the best guy to do the transcriptions:

For sure! The transcription site is crazy. I wish I had all of that under my fingers and in my ears! Thanks Saxtek.
