 I have a Selmer Super Balanced Action tenor. The upper stack "B" key (left index finger) floods with saliva after about 15 min. of playing. I had repair techs look at the horn and adjust the "B" pad so that it closes properly along with the key just above it. I have looked at the both keys using a leak light myself while closing the "B" ever so gently and I cannot see a leak. Is this wet "B" key a problem on all tenors? Does anybody have this problem? Is there a solution for it? I make sure the "B" pad is water proofed regularly to extend the life of the pad.
