Hi again guys. I had a question about my set up again. I used to play on a beechler m6s which was everything a man could want. However , I switched to a s7s looking for a bigger brighter tone for lead playing, but I am convinced that the mouthpiece is inconsistent. Is there any other beechler that you could recommend for the sound I wanted. Similar to that big, bright sound. Thx. And btw, I foolishly lost my damn m6s :(

reface the s7s or send it to beechler, they'll most likely tweak it, maybe even for free, if it doesn't play well. Pop them an email saying somethings wrong with the piece and wait for a reply, beechler has good customer service.

Sending it to Beechler is a great idea if their service has a good reputation, which it seems to. You should also maybe consider looking for a used copy of your old facing; I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to get a big, bright sound out of one of those. If you liked that size in general, you should be able to get it to work for that situation (maybe a slightly harder reed would get you the volume you want).
since your used to a 6 tip maybe a s6s ?or just play that m6s that you liked . i agree they all play different. lately ive been using a s5s thats been great. still experimenting and so far the diamond s5s does every thing i want.
I did send a bellite back to beechler and it came back to me the exact way i sent it to them. i agree judy and the folks at beechler are great when it comes to customer service .just the piece i sent came back the same. others have raved about an improved piece coming back to them . the bellites are more powerful and a little brighter. might want to check those out. mine is reed picky but with the right reed its great.bellites require a little more work in my opinion to play then the diamonds. but thats just me...
missed the part about not having the m6s
