Vintage?

I might have asked this question before, and excuse me if I have, (I don't remember an answer.) but can someone please tell what (if any ) is the definition of 'vintage' for saxophones? I have an old horn, but I don't know if it's as old to be considered 'vintage'.

And what are the pluses and minuses of playing with a vintage sax?
