wichitaband is always really high on all their stuff in comparison to other sellers......or at least I think so; just my opinion, but yes, the horn is beautiful.

I agree, I think that price is a good one, although I wouldn't call the horn "mint", it appears to have had a lot of work done to it. Maybe I'm biased because I might be selling my Buescher bass when my Tubax contra arrives....

My brother bought & used a similar Buescher Bass in the 1950s. He bought it for £30 and was pleased with the deal when he sold it for £50 a few years later....If only, indeed!

I wouldn't say it's as nice as the one in the auction, it is lacquered brass - they didn't come lacquered so at some stage it has been lacquered. Has had a few minor dings but it plays very well.

I'll stick with my Conn Bass though it does indeed look really nice!
