Vandoren V16 Tenor Mouthpiece Ligature Placement

I have a question where do you put the optimum ligiture on the V16 Tenor Vandoren mouthpiece, I put mine so I can just see the lettering on top is this right?

I use an optimum on a V16 T95. The lig should fit perfectly so that the words "Vandoren Paris" fits directly inside the open square cutout above the lig. Hope that makes sense. If your interested in what plates optimum ligature users prefer, there is nice thread in the ligatures section.
