That I am an amteur sax player and that I am in my 70s might help you to give me +the right answer. As I mentioned in a question here some months ago, after leaving my saxes in a closet for many years, I now find it a necessity to play my saxes, even though nobody might hear me (except the apartment neighbors who so far have not complained.)
Now that I'm feeling pretty good about playing my bari and alto, I started working on the soprano, and the sopranino.
On the soprano, I finally switched from the Van Dorens and the LaVoz reeds that players I know insisted were best, and I bought a box of what I used to play, i.e., Rico Royal 2 1/2.
And in no time at all I was getting the tone I wanted and I was playing better.

Now the 'ino.

Google "sopranino sax reeds" and there is almost nothing but Van Doren.

I just checked again, and the only alternative reed I could find tonight is
"Alexander Superial Standard Sopranino Sax Reeds (Box 10) £14.13 £16.25
and

""Rico Grand Concert Select Sopranino Saxophone Reeds, 10/Box, #.

I doubt I'd want to try to import something that might work out, so Superial is out.

If you have first-hand knowledge of the Rico for sopranino, please tell me about them. And if you can tell me how the Grand Concert compares to the Royal line.
(And I've lost the URL to the place that has the Ricos.)

Thanks in advance, and my neighbors would probably thank you too.
