Help.....

I am a senior in high school and i am currently playing on a Otto Link 6. I have heard good things about Bergs and I was wondering what would happen if i switched...what would happen to my tone? and what would happen to my volume? Another question is waht type of reeds do you all use for jazz. I have been using Java and I tried the new ZZ and didnt like them that much (more of a late bop or rock sound; too bright). Thanks for your help.

Your sound will get much brighter. Those piece are sort of on the opposite end of the spectrum, as far as bright and dark go. Berg does have some "less bright" pieces, but they are still much brighter than the Link. Part of it is chamber and such, but I think much of it is the polished stainless steel of the Berg.
