This is crudely made from a Francois Louis Ultimate Ligature, a coat hanger, clear tubing, electical outlet covers, glue, sports tape, and gel shoe insoles (unused).
I was released from the hospital a week agao and could not play one note unassisted. Many other attempts required smaller tips and softer reeds. Now I am able to play up to D altissimo on tenor with a size 8 Otto Link STM. And sustain a 2 hour practice session. Still using softer reeds.
