Seeing the success of the other similar thread, I thought maybe we should do something similar in this area. I have posted a few things over there, but they are far more jazz oriented, so I feel out of place. As for me, I have been playing covers with my band, Excellent Adventure, as well as...

I did some searches, and I didn't come up with a thread like this, so I hope I'm not duplicating. OK boys and girls, so it's fess up time. Given all the Mark VI threads around, I thought it would be kind of fun to see how many of the 16,000+ SOTW members actually own one or more of the...

Just couldn't resist to post this clip here on SOTW. Each time I hear this it makes me happy and sad at the same time. Happy because it's such a great way to play a song like that and sad because you don't hear much (if any?) players who can really play in this style these days. The ancient Texas...

Yeah not bad for a built in mic. I get pretty good results from a shure 58 and a cheap interface that has an xlr. A 57 or 58 would sound great compared to the laptop mic, and you could also use it...

Your average Joe doesn't know any jazz tunes. Usually I play stuff like:
Pink Panther
Tequila
Yackety Sax
Star Wars
Harry Potter
007
Raider's of the Lost Ark
In The Mood
